Desire2Learn Office Extensions not working correctly with Office 2010 and D2L 10 -

when attempt use desire2learn office extension office 2010 on windows 7 against our development instance of d2l v10 login integration not work properly. enter url our development instance:

when click "login" button on desire2learn tab in word, popup dialog standard d2l sign-in page:

but when enter valid credentials redirected d2l org-level homepage within same small popup window, not expected behavior idkey authentication redirect. haven't had experience yet d2l valence apis, appears initial request /d2l/auth/api/token fails , redirected standard d2l login page.

is there here has been able configure d2l 10 work office extension assist me in getting working?

there sites custom portal page organization's login not pass "target=" parameter through login step appropriately. missing results in "deeplinking" not working (which in turn required during valence auth).

if control own portal page may able update directly.

otherwise suggest open support ticket desire2learn helpdesk, typically quick change.

i have been writing soap client application in c++ on ubuntu using openssl https transport , pthreads threading. have number of threads - 1 central data acquisition thread periodically gets worker threads make soap requests via shared mutex protected queues. reading documentation openssl found is openssl thread-safe? in openssl faq describes mechanisms required ensure thread safety when using openssl. implemented , works fine. the reason question conceptual difficulty really. thinking implementing same functionality application has already, instead of using threads, create 2 seperate applications : 1 worker thread (of multiple copies running) , main data acquisition thread. use tcp sockets communicate between 2 rather mutex protected queues. may bad idea not important - confusing me would have implement same functions required ensure openssl thread safety in second approach or not? my guess not have , treated independent (indeed surely must many applications use openssl) re...
